Guest guest
Hi , My lining was about 6 mid cycle post AS. It increase to 9 by the end of the cycle. Did you go back to see if there was more of an increase. I was a bit surprised by this, but Dr. Copperman was not. Also, I think hormones usually do the trick re increase in lining. Even during severe AS it helped my lining. There was a significant difference when I was on it or off it. I had a lining of 1mm off and 3 on while I had severe AS. Hope this helps. brendapreston wrote: Hi Everyone,I just had my first u/s post AS. My lining only measured 5 mm mid-cycle. I know that is bad, but how bad is it? I'm waiting to hear back from my Dr. so I don't know what the next step is.I've been ttc for 2 months but I don't expect anything to happen on my own. Am I correct in this thinking?I know hormones have been prescribed to build the lining, but do they increase it significantly enough to get a 5 to a minimum 8?Sorry, I have a ton of questions. I suspect I already had a thin lining when I conceived before since my periods have been super light after getting off of bcps for 8 years. My AF is actually heavier now than it was pre AS. But it is still light.Any advise would be helpful. I'd like to go to my Dr. with info in hand. Thanks, P.

Guest guest
Hi , I've managed to make it to between 6-7mm. Part of my problem is that my follicular phase is too short. There's not enought time for the endometrium to keep getting the right hormones in order to keep on building. In any case, Dr. Indman told me last summer that pregnancies have been sustained at all levels. Of course, we want to play the best odd we can get. I hope to make it to 8mm as a minimum. I am going the clomid route in order to lengthen my cycle, but we'll also need to watch out for the opposite effect of thining the lining. I've been ttc again for the past 4 cycles with IUI and have have no luck. My new doc says that we should not be trying to conceive at this time - perhaps in another month. It's so odd to be back to the waiting period. The only thing I had changed in recent months was adding acupuncture in hopes of improving blood flow and drinking lots of green tea. Who knows what, if anything, is working. In any case, I am feeling optimistic that lengthening my cycles will have a positive impact. I hope to get to 26 days minimum for my full cycle. I'm wondering if you've had the follicle maturation study done. My follicles seem to develop to good maturity it's just that the cycle is too short. I wish you the best. I'm rarely on the site recently, but I hope to start checking in daily again soon. Take care, J.

Guest guest
Hi , I have not gone back yet to see if my lining has increased. Were you at 6mm when you conceived? And how are you feeling? I guess 5mm is not too bad and is something to start with. I don't know much about taking hormones. Is it something you have to take monthly while ttc? > > Hi , > My lining was about 6 mid cycle post AS. It increase to 9 by the end of the cycle. Guest guest
Hi. My lining measures 4mm mid-cycle also. But....I do have a baby- -she's 1 year. I did injectibles to get pg with her and my lining got to 6.4mm. I am currently awaiting a pregnancy test this week-- did a round of injectibles and my lining got to 6.4mm again. It's not much, but enough to achieve a successful pregnancy. Also producing more than 1 egg/cycle gives us more of a chance of one implanting. Increasing our odds per cycle. I also injected estrogen and did vag. suppos. of estrace--along with baby aspirin. good luck > I just had my first u/s post AS. My lining only measured 5 mm > mid-cycle.
