Guest guest
Hi, I gave birth to my second child 5 months ago. After a retained placenta which was manually removed, I had a number of blood clots and was then rushed into theatre for an emergencu D & C. 4 wks later I had a large blood loss and was readmitted for another D & C. I then got an infection and was on IV antibiotics, when a scan revealed that I still had some retained placenta. I was given another D & C and thought all was well. I still have not had a period, so I had a scan where they suspected Ashermans's. I was admitted for a hysteroscopy, D & C & IUD, but the scarring was so bad in the cervix, that the gynae was unable to get into the uterus - in the process punctured the uterine wall. I now on the pill to see if this will induce a withdarawal bleed (unlikely) and plans to repeat procedure with a laproscopy. I would like to know if anyone can recommend an A list doctor who I could see in England to get this resolved once and for all. Thanks Caroline
