Guest guest
Thanks to the help of the people on this group, my daughter is getting her DOC band next week. (We had a really good STARband provider in our area, but there was so much overwhelming advice to go with the DOCband, even though we have to fly for it, that we decided to go for it. Our thoughts were that if she didn't correct well with the STARband we would always wonder if we had done our best, and since at 10 months we couldn't be sure of the results anyway, we decided we didn't want to risk always wondering.) Anyway, according to the experts she's a moderate Brachy, some rounding on the bottom but pretty flat at the top (wish I had a picture to post, but I don't yet). But she has an awfully square head. I think some of that is natural, but I know some of that is due to the Brachy. Will the band help with that at all, or is she going to be square-headed for the rest of her life? I'll love her any way, of course, but it would be nice to think that as her head grew, it would appear less square. And if it won't, then I want to set my expectations now.
