Hi Tom,

It gets better. I had the same problem. For me, I think it was partly

because I was conditioned not to smile broadly (think Mr. Ed), so now

I have to unlearn that habit. Now I can't flash any gum at all, no

matter how big I smile. I still feel a bit tight in the upper lip,

but it's much better than it was some months ago. I'm almost 10

months post-op now.
