Guest guest
Hi , Check out this web site. We have had a lot of members use them. http://www.aircareall.org I would definitely stick w/the new pediatrician. :-) I'm not a doctor but to me it looks like she has a combo of plagio head shapes. You can check out this web site to see the head shapes of babies with cranio: http://www.cappskids.org/CAPPSCranioKids.htm http://www.kidsplastsurg.com/craniosynostosis.html Good luck and please keep us posted. -- In Plagiocephaly , " Osburn " <sosburn@e...> wrote: > > OK, here are her new pictures. So, if I do end up going for a DOC band, does that mean I have to drive 10 hours one way every week? How do you all do this? > > I finally got a call from 's old ped today. (I switched peds cuz her doc told me just to keep an eye on it and she'd see her in 2 months.) I told the doc I wasn't comfortable with doing nothing and she said we could do a CT scan to reassure me. I didn't tell her I already have one scheduled through her new doc. I asked her what we could do if the the CT scan rules out craniosynostosis and it's just plagio. Do you know what she told me?? " There's really nothing to be done for that. She'll just grow out of it. " Now, how is it possible that a Dr. feels this way? I'm so glad I changed docs. Anyway, if you could take a look at her pics I would appreciate it. > > Thanks for the warm welcome to the group. > > > Re: New and seeking guidance > > > , > It is tough to say what is going on without the CT scan, but she can > have a combination of plagio shapes.
