Guest guest
You can seal it with a coat or two of Mod Podge (available at craft stores). You can use a foam brush to apply it. When you want to change the stickers you can just peel it off. > > Hi! My 7-month old son got his DOC band last week. Guest guest
Hello, We are about to decorate our son's band and wanted to know if anyone here has used spray paint? If so, what were the results as far as how well it lasted and did it go on nicely?? I'm sure there will be an odor about it as well. Has anyone experimented with decorating? Any tips or advice is much appreciated. Thanks, Janet

Guest guest
Hi Janet, I'm not sure anyone has had a good experience using spray paint. It's really important that no paint get on the inside of the band. I have heard good things about Krylon fusion paint for plastic. Check out this link: http://www.plagiocephaly.org/support/decorate.htm Have fun I hope you post pics when you're done. > > Hello, > > We are about to decorate our son's band and wanted to know if anyone > here has used spray paint? Guest guest
People have had it airbrushed before but the one complaint seems to be that it peels off pretty quickly. Normally, a paint job only lasts about 3 weeks (in my experience) and that's with touch ups. I remember at lesat one mom saying it was a waste of money to have it done. Not sure if the airbrush artist will do it themselves, but it would definitely have to get a layer of mod podge or something similar. I would also just check that they're using water based/acrylic paint. Jake-2.5 (DOCBand Grad 9/08) Jordan-5.5 > > My daughter is getting the DOC band in a week and a half. I was hoping to have it airbrushed but I don't know if this will last or if it is safe using airbrush paint? >
