Guest guest
Last week was prom at our high school. Karlee was fortunate to have a date - a nice young man who she has been a friend with for a long time. She had a great time. Our high school has a grand march - which is quite an elaborate affair. The jr. parents decorate the gym. Each couple is announced and marches in (this year on a red carpet).Karlee had so much poise and a wonderful smile when it was her turn. People in our community know that Karlee has struggled with health issues. They are so supportive. Many adults told us how beautiful and grown up Karlee looked. Three different ladies told us that it wasn't even their kid and they teared up. With all of the struggles it was so much fun for Karlee to have this to look forward to. She also survived the post prom activities until 5:30 in the morning. Part of the entertainment was a hypnotist. Karlee volunteered along with 9 others to participate. I sent a picture to to include in the photo album. from IL (Karlee 18)
