Guest guest
I finally got around to finishing the web page that shows my pill paks.... As I say on the page.. it's to get folks to look outside the box and explore how dosing changes in timing, etc can be of benefit to some.... and offer my boxes as one example of how to make it a bit easier to multi-dose. To be honest, I don't know if anyone else will be all that interested, but I won't know unless I offer it and get some feedback from folks... so... anyway.. just letting you guys know that it's there... Remember... On the site I go by my ThyroGeek handle and not Topper.... but they are both me.... www.thyrophoenix.com/thyrogeek's_pill_paks.htm Topper ()

Guest guest
Yeah I hear ya. I am struggling with a week box that I need a bigger bag to carry. I had the plans for these somewhere, but a) I can't find them and I couldn't quite make sense of them. At least I have other things to put in the messenger bag too. in LA Thanks, ! I love 'em... but then I customized them to me!! hehehehehe I really like being able to grab a box that will fit in my shirt pocket and go.... makes it MUCH easier to stick to the right dosing times.... Guest guest
Looks great Topper but at this time I'm still working on " take your Synthroid in the morning 1 hour before you eat and take your vitamins 12 hours later. " I like the logic of vitamins with meals but not sure my compliance level would be high. LOL

Guest guest
Are the iron and calcium levels in your vitamins high? If not... take those vitamins with your breakfast... where it will do your body the most good. Another advantage to splitting up the vitamins is that the amounts are low at each dosing, causing less problems..... I admit, too, that it helps a lot to be taking natural thyroid for most of my doses, that allows me to take my dose sublingually which means that there is less interference with the iron and the calcium. You'll get the hang of this... I've been doing this for years.... taking notes and learning my body and what I need to do to help it.... I do best with this stuff spread out through the day.... Guest guest
I take GNC Ultra mega multivitamins with no iron, no iodine. I also take GNC Calcium with Vitamin D, 800 mg, x2. I'm usually at the edge of anemia or anemic, and probably need the iron, but things are stopped up enough right now w/o adding iron to the mix. Maybe when I get enough 200mcg Synthroid in me that my levels go upward, I can add the iron. I like the idea of the split vits, tho. I usually take them now with dinner. I hate pills and they're pretty sizeable pills so it takes a lot of liquid to get them down. I've been on 200 mcg of Synthroid for nearly two weeks and I feel definite improvement from 2 weeks ago, so I think we're finally on the right track. > Are the iron and calcium levels in your vitamins high?
