Guest guest
I am in agreement with the no laptop answer. Hospitals do not want/and are not responsible for the loss of anything expensive so they probably would stear you away from bringing one. Also, I had all I could contend with just managing the phone. I first was in the ICU and then a regular room and was not up to much. Probably the medications. I brought a few magazines and a book and never got to those. Has anyone on this list been discharged to a rehab center or a Nursing Home following their discharge from the hospital? I had to spend 6 awful days in a Nursing Home nearby (one block from home) because Dr. Thayer thought I was not ready for home. I thought I could manage at home. He didn't think so. I have forgiven him - hehe. I love the man. He is great. Sally Re: Just a few things > Hi Tina, > > I am 9 wks. post op and i have to tell you I do not think i would of > used a laptop.
