My thinking is that for the first blood tests after the first ablation, these numbers aren't very meaningful, since they are assumedly on their way up (T3 & T4) and down (TSH & Tg). I'm not saying it's a bad thing to do more extensive testing at this time, just that it's not a bad thing not to do it.
