It's very comforting to know that others have gone through similar things and are doing well now. I know i just need to try and remain positive even though its so difficult. Today has been a little better. I went to see my surgeon and he loosened the bands so i advanced to yogurt shakes today! he took one look at me and i think he was stunned at how swollen i still am. he again reiterated that my skin is fair and sensitive so its going to take a while but that it will go down. i feel like a monster!! I really want to try the MLD therapy but its 100 dollars per session here in NYC and insurance wont cover it so i dont know what to do. This whole process has been sooo expensive for me already. My question today is about swallowing. Have other postoppers had difficultly swallowing after surgery? It just feels so forced and uncomfortable. Any suggestions? Thanks again for everyones advice!!
