Guest guest
I have appalling tinnitus and progressive hearing loss (started up suddenly in November 2005, and is getting continuously worse). Whether I can fix it remains to be seen, but I think I'm on the verge of a breakthrough as to the cause. In short, do you get fatigued easily? Weight loss? If so, get an ACTH stimulation test to check your adrenal function, and check your aldosterone levels at the same time. You might have adrenal insufficiency... and this just might be related to your tinnitus problem. PS I'm not a doctor, just a keen, motivated researcher. But in my experience there are very few really knowledgeable hearing specialists out there. On the other had, there are lots of specialists who are great at dishing out nonsense diagnoses. Beware. > Has anyone successfully rid themselves of chronic tinnitus? > I have had tinnitus for almost three years now. It is what led me to > the discovery of mercury/metals as a cause for this. Tinnitus can be a symptom of yeast problems, which themselves are interlinked with mercury problems and aggravated by chelation. Have you tried an anti-candida diet or anti-yeast supplements? Guest guest
I had a hair test (not DDI though) way back in May. Normal were: Calcium, Phosphorus, Nickel, Manganese, Cobalt Low-normal were: Iron, Chromium, Low were: Magnesium, Sodium, Zinc, Selenium REALLY low were: Potassium High was: Copper Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Arsenic and Aluminium were all very low. I think I'm really close to understanding what's actually happened to me. Not sure how much of a role mercury has to play (if any). I'll let you all know if/when I manage to confirm things. Don't want to spout some long drawn-out theory... then find I'm wrong! Suffice it to say, I have supplemented all kinds of things until > Very elevated Cobalt and very low magnesium ca cause tinnitus. > Do you have a hair test? > Dean > >> I have appalling tinnitus and progressive hearing loss (started up >> suddenly in November 2005, and is getting continuously worse). > >

My hair tests is a GSDL and did not check for that. I have scary high cadmium, elevated lead and mercury is a problem. Messed up adrenals and thryoid. But I do know that tinnitus is listes as a mercury symptoms. > > > Very elevated Cobalt and very low magnesium ca cause tinnitus. > > Do you have a hair test? > > Dean > > > >> I have appalling tinnitus and progressive hearing loss (started up > >> suddenly in November 2005, and is getting continuously worse). > > > > >

Guest guest
I am doing dmsa via Andy's protocol, will this take care of cobalt if it was a problem? > > Very elevated Cobalt and very low magnesium ca cause tinnitus. > Do you have a hair test? > Dean > > >I have appalling tinnitus and progressive hearing loss (started up > >suddenly in November 2005, and is getting continuously worse). > > > >

Guest guest
-Been on anti yeast since May...no such relief. Guest guest
>I am doing dmsa via Andy's protocol, will this take care of cobalt if >it was a problem? Andy says identify the source and eliminate it. It can help to use heart supporting supplements in the mean time CoQ10, carnitine, magnesium and Hawthorne extract. Cobalt is often a blue colouring added to drinks, mouth wash etc. An intesting case I've just become aware of is Hair Test 18 http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/hairtest.html He works in a dental office mixing dental impression material during the day. It has a blue dye in it that changes colour when set. We think it is from that that he is exposed. Dean
Guest guest
I had a GSDL hair test in the spring. The cobalt was 0.025 with a ref range of 0.001-0.129 Magnesium was 63 with a ref range of 11-122 Manganese was 0.16 with a ref range of .04-1.93 I was really high in vanadium, everything else was green or low. Toxic metals in the red were antimony, bismuth, cadmium, lead, tin, uranium. If anyone was interested I can post the whole thing. > > >I am doing dmsa via Andy's protocol, will this take care of cobalt if > >it was a problem? > > Andy says identify the source and eliminate it.
