Guest guest
Hi Gaby, When your renal function gets down there, you can have a tendency to retain water. My weight can vary more than a couple of pounds from day to day despite exercise and eating the same, but I am down around 20% function. Some days my feet are so swollen, they hardly fit in my shoes, but I don't let that stop me from jumping on my treadmill :-) Please reach out when you are depressed. It can be a normal part of the grieving process and it does take time to get to the other side when you get to acceptance. It does feel less overwhelming over time, and we are here to support you along the way. Don't forget that you are not alone Gaby.
