Guest guest
In regards to the lady having carpal tunnel surgery, twice throughout this report the doctor has made reference to the s/l *tenelle sign. Does this ring a bell in anyone mind, or books? On 4-26-00 she followed up with Dr. Lamoreaux for both shoulder and carpal tunnel issues. She had positive TENELLE sign on the left and also a significant bulge was found including palpation of the left wrist. There is no evidence of thenar atrophy and no tenderness distally into the carpal tunnel release. On 7-5-00 she was evaluated by M.D. of Seattle hand surgery group. On examination a bulge of about 1 cm was present over the left wrist, tender to touch, the wrist crease in the area of the surgical incision with marked TENELLES sign over that and also over the radial side of the proximal phalanx, ring finger, and decreased sensation to light touch over the radial side of the thumb. After this I am going to bed, so I promise no more questions for tonight at least!
