Hello my Irish Friend!

It was so good to see your post today! I still can't believe you

haven't had surgery yet! I'm sure you are tired of waiting. Keep

me up to speed on how things progress. Sounds like things may be

moving quickly soon in terms of a decision ... now let's hope that

you don't have to wait those 3 months for a room at the hospital.

Italy sounds wonderful. I'll get there some day. Have some vino

for me, ok?

I am doing well. Still in braces, closing some gaps. I see the

ortho next week. I have a few questions for him. My midline is

still not where I want it to be but it is far better than after

Surgery 1. I'm wondering if he is intending to do any more tweaking

to shift the midline over a bit. If not, I'll come to terms with

it.

I know all about how it feels to go to the first social event with

braces. It's not too terrible, but you don't look forward to it.

People are nicer than I thought they'd be. And more people share

with you that they wish they'd had done something with their smile,

so that makes you feel better. Just you wait ... soon you'll be on

the Other Side and start calculating when you will be at the next

social occasion without the braces. That's where I'm at now and

it's pretty fun and exciting.

I would LOVE to get a digital picture of you! Please do send it to

my email address, ok? Looking forward to seeing you and thanks for

posting a note to me.

Irish!
