Guest guest
Diane, Welcome. Are you going for the evaluation tomorrow or to actually get fitted with a band? If this is the first visit to see if one is needed then ask the usual things. What experience and training have you had? How many babies have you treated? Have you had specific training in the use of the Starband? Do you have parent references I can talk with? That sort of thing. Hope that helps. Guest guest
We're going for the evaluation tomorrow, I guess. We have a prescription for a STARband from a doctor at Children's Hospital in Birminham, AL. Thanks, Diane and 8 1/8 months, no band yet > > > > Hello, > > > > We have our first appointment to get a STARband tomorrow in Atlanta. > > I would like to be prepared and have a list of questions to ask. > Does > > anyone out there have one? > > > > Thanks, > > Diane and - 8 1/2 months, no band yet > > >

Guest guest
Diane, This is the time to ask all your questions and if you are not happy with the answers or are not comfortable then tell them you want to think about it and will call for an appointment to be scanned should you choose to go ahead. If you are comfortable and want to go ahead they may be able to do the scan the same day. The scan does not hurt them and is not bad at all. It then takes two weeks to get the band and it should not be longer than two weeks between the scan and the day they get the band. Does that help you out?
