Okay - I'm offering a little trivia for the good doctor - (since you came

up with such good ones for the group) - and since I recently heard the origin of

the word capnos , as in capnography. It's Greek naturally. Those that have heard

Baruch Krauss speak may remember this. What does capnos actually mean?

As I recall, kapnos is Greek for smoke. Latin would be capnomantia(o).

Greek preceded Latin so I would suspect that the etymology is to

smoke--which makes sense.
