Guest guest
Tried Glutino breadsticks for the first time today. The box shows them as salad-accompanying bread sticks. But, in my opinion, they're far too airy to do that duty. But, they made really nice soup crackers. I had a big bowl of GF tomato (Amy's), while my kidlets had " Dora the Explorer " chicken soup. We all shared some Glutino pizza-flavored breadsticks in our soups. (I do NOT like the Glutino bagels. So, it was a big leap of open-mindedness on my part to give Glutino breadsticks a try.) Hope this helps someone. Forgive me if it's old news. I was thinking about the chowder and crackers when I tried these breadsticks with my soup. I think I'd not choose pizza flavor to go with chowder. But it goes well with tomato. There's also a sesame flavor at my local grocery. I would think the sesame might go well with clam chowder. Just occurred to me - I don't know if you were having Manhattan-style clam chowder or New England. Since I'm in RI, I just assumed New England style. But now that I think about it more, if you were enjoying Manhattan clam chowder, the pizza breadsticks might work well. They're not overpoweringly pizza flavored. Esther in RI, who enjoys New England style clam chowder but will enjoy Manhattan style too. :-) I'm not a chowder snob. Laugh!
