Guest guest
Jim, YOu have to fill out a reciprocity application and turn it in to the state along with the fee. They review it and then once you receive your cert. you have to take the state test within one year in order to maintain your cert. in texas. Hope this could help you. Guest guest
First go to www.tdh.state.tx.us/hcqs/ems/emshome.htm . Then click on rules/policy, then click on view ems/traume systems rules policies and then policies in numerical order and go to Policy 02-E (u). This will tell you all about what you need to do. Then go back to emshome page and click on Certification/Licensure. Then click on National Registry to Texas Certification. This will bring up where you need to go to get an application for your status. You must be current on your National Registry to do this. Good luck and welcome to Texas. Guest guest
Piece of cake, paperwork process using your NREMT-B Card. The NJ card remains valid of course but recerting that is an issue unless of course you are willing to go back to J for a Core 13. The good news is you can use the Core 13 as you recert for your NREMT as well as your NJ card if you like. Texas is a nice place too Louis N. Molino, Sr. CET FF/EMT-B/FSI/EMSI LNMolino@...
