Guest guest
LOL that's ok Janet! You need to do this in YOUR time! That's how you're gonna keep it off when you get there! Wasn't it our State Queen last year? (or was it the year before?) who said never give up because it took her 35 years to reach her goal.....the whole idea isn't how long it takes.....what matters is that we get there! heh heh....I'm saying this for you as well as myself.....I'm scared to death that I'm not gonna reach my goal cuz I dinked around too long and I figure if I can convince myself NOW - I won't beat myself up too badly in December...... My only 'goal' right now is to finish the year with a loss.. any loss! Our chapter is having a miserable year so far. We've gotta turn things around. Up waaay too late tonight. My son is driving his girlfriend home (They went to the movies, dinner, and got pedicures this evening), and I can't sleep until all my chicks are in the nest for the night. This is the first night in several days that I could actually be sleeping, since I don't have to get up to check on ... or worry about getting up early to open the v-ball concession stand... and here I am, still up at 1:30 AM!! is 19, I've really gotta cut the apron strings sooner or later... Guest guest
Janet, and Melody - - - you are both going to make it - - and in a whole lot less time than I did!! I was one of those who "dinked" around for years before I finally made KOPS, but both of you have soooo much more determination than I did!! I have no idea why I goofed around for so long - - I could be a 20 or 25 year KOPS if I'd gotten in there and lost my weight the first couple of years!! What's the old saying? "HIND SIGHT IS BETTER THAN FORE SIGHT BY A DAMN SIGHT!" Hang in there! You are both doing great, and you will make CCIW and KOPS by the end of next year - because the rest of us here on the loop will harass you into it!!! I'm just a worrier though. hugs, janet * * * * Janet, don't you know that, as a Mother, you NEVER quit worrying about your "chicks" no matter how old they are? And about the time you think you can ease up on worrying about the "chicks", the "grand-chicks" come along, and then you worry about them? And I gather from your earlier message that you are "borrowing" some worry time over your niece? Yep, I do that too - - - I am definitely a fellow worrier!! How well I remember standing at the window at 1 or 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning waiting for one or both of my boys to come driving into the driveway! When my daughter-in-law calls me and tells me how she worries, I just say, "Yes, I remember very well how many nights I waited for MY son to come in when he was dating YOU!" LOL Maybe what goes around really does come back around, huh? (((HUGS))) Clara No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
