Guest guest
TK, etal. I have a gal that has had a positive diagnosis for MS, has one lesion showing in the brain, and became symptomatic earlier this year. 1)She had all but one amalgam removed some time ago (did not indicate when) with absolutely NO safety precautions that she is aware of....she says she did not feel poorly afterwards. Is the fact that she felt find conclusive in any way as to whether further damage was done or not? 2) She knows nothing about proper chelation...I beleive has never heard of chelation at all, ergo has not done any.(Good, since she still has one amalgam in) 3) I briefed her on ALA chelation just a bit and directed her to Andy's book, but upon inspection of my own copy, I see that MS is not really covered in the Amalgam Illness book, at least I did not find it in the index.(???) 4) With one amalgam still in, but all others removed, what is the likelyhood that deranged mineral transport would be an effective diagnostic? 5) I see that Huggins has a book out on MS and amalgams, and I pointed her towards that. I suspect it would be a very good book, but I have personally not read read it......what do you know about it? 6) What should I recommend to this lady as the best course of action? Any good REAL resources for her that you know of, TK? At least the good thing is that the doctors have already told here there is nothing they can do, so at least she won't get stuck in years and years of some kind of totally useless therapy while things go downhill. I am a little concerned that Amalgam Illness book does not address MS...or does it, and it was just not in the index? Thanks for any and all help, Inga

Guest guest
Andy has written about a connection between MS and mercury in archives. I can't remember where, and don't have time to search right now. I think there is a case report in his hair test book. I have MS and am expecting it to resolve with chelation. Proper removal of the last amalgam, hair test, and Cutler style chelation is the way to go. I had good results with the 'best bet diet' for MS (and others have as well). The diet helps to control symptoms. see www.direct-ms.org BUT be sure to warn her to use ***Andy's*** supplements. direct-ms lists ALA and RALA on their designer (optional) supplement list. I've asked them to take them off with no luck so far (I decided I can't control all the bad advise on the internet). For me this was gluten intolerance (presumably with a genetic predisposition and mercury induced). Removing gluten from my diet resolved balance type problems. >Also, I think she > mentioned some mental symptoms of disorientation, drinking electrolyte solutions seems to help me with this. The one I am using now is 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1 T honey, juice of 1 lemon, 4 c water. >IF I recall correctly. > Before that she had had lower back pain, unsuccesfully treated by > chiropractics. Guest guest
In Hal Huggins book " It's all in your Head " he does a chapter on MS and how he has seen a connection and people recover following amalgam removal/treatment. If that helps at all. MS has also been show to come on following vaccinations which contained mercury. As we are seeing in Gulf War vets now.. " Gulf War Syndrome " . So maybe some reference there. I think the Hal book would be worth reading at least. Note however that he does not advocate for " chemical chelation " meaning dmsa...just natural detox. But the science in relation to the illness is good. He usually explains in his books exactly how mercury interferes in the body and causes MS. FYI: my daughters hair test showed deranged minerals and she had one filling still in when we did the test. So it will show up with or without the fillings. > > TK, etal. > > I have a gal that has had a positive diagnosis for MS, has one lesion > showing in the brain, and became symptomatic earlier this year. > > 1)She had all but one amalgam removed some time ago (did not indicate > when) with absolutely NO safety precautions that she is aware of....she >
