Congratulations! That is wonderful news that both tubes are clear, you must

be so relieved! And that it wasn't painful is an added bonus!!!!!! So does

this mean you can TTC soon?

This absolutely terrific news has taken a LOOOONG time to reach you, but I am

very happy it has finally arrived! Congratulations on a great report, you

That's great news on your HSG!!!! Finally, you can start moving forward! I

do wonder about that mass too, though. Is your RE even going to see if it

is still there or just going to go forward and not worry about it? If he

isn't worried, then I guess there is really no reason to be.

To tell you the truth, I think my RE gets people mixed up. I have

only met him three times since last August, and he juggles so many

patients. So when I asked him about the " mass, " he said it dissolved

into the body. I don't think he remembers that I'm the one that

showed it on the U/S only a month ago. Also, he didn't know that my

gyne felt it during the pelvic exam only 3 weeks ago.

My plan is to enjoy the relief that the inside of my tubes are

clear. I'm going on clomid next month, which requires an U/S to

monitor the follicles. At that point, I'll ask the tech to check if

it's still there. I do know that some things can be seen on the U/S

and not on the HSG. But I am definitely hoping that it just

miraculously disappeared!

Hi Vicky,

There are several people who have this antibody issue in the group. I think Gwen and perhaps CC may be two of them. Once it is diagnosed, I think there is a lot of hope. My perinatologists wife had this from what I hear. She just delivered a healthy baby. Leuteal phase issues are usually an easier fix. It sounds like you need a good RE coupled with a good perinatologist. Also, please try the high risk pregnancy groups. They are very helpful. There are a few woman in these groups with both of your issues that will be able to give you lots of info! You are in a pretty major city, so there should be lots of options there. If not, there is a sister practice of my doctors office in town I think. It is called RMA (Reproductive Medical Associates)

I hope to clear up what his actual diagnosis is at the next visit as I am somewhat unclear as to that--whether this is considered a mild case of Asherman's or not.

I am very relieved if he feels that my body will return to normal without any surgery and despite some of the other problems that need to be investigated which may have led to the Sept. miscarriage which initially led me to see an RE, I feel lucky right now that this does not appear to be one of the problems I will need to deal with at the moment. As far as my fertility workup is concerned, It has been discovered that I produce antibodies which can reject a fetus which will need to be dealt with in any future pregnancies--also, the RE wants to see if I have a luteal phase defect due to my extremely low progesterone levels during pregnancy, or what else may be the cause of this...once my periods get back to normal, which hopefully will be the case, I supposed I can continue with some of the bloodwork and ultrasounds which will be necessary to get to the bottom of this.

I am an excellent example of why it is important to have the diagnostic testing first prior to jumping into surgery. It seems like this what was planned for me until I started to have some flow just a couple days before the scheduled date. Several of you had suggested how important the diagnostics were, and you were right on target.

If Asherman's is ruled out next month, I suppose my presence on this site may be questionable..however, I must say that regardless of the reason why I am here, I have found the information to be most valuable and the posts have been a constant source of support and encouragement in my lonely days since the Sept. miscarriage....
