Guest guest
>>> But what I do think is a lot of us know there are many courses required for a college degree that have absolutely nothing to do with being a good medic or a good anything. They are just required. And that is probably what most people are against. We don't have time or money to waste. <<< I don't consider any part of my college education to be a waste of time. I also had to take 4 semesters of English and I still use it almost everyday! Kenny Navarro
Guest guest
If your going to respond to a post made by someone, I think it would be best to really try and understand what that writer was trying to say. I don't believe I made the statement that the education was a total waste of time. I said there are many courses that are, because they have absolutely nothing to do with anything. English (some of it) is used everyday in everything we do (Patient Reports, Administrative Reports and Correspondences, Training). I don't believe that was what I was trying to say. I will say trying to analyse a poem was not one of my better course, but it was one of the required English courses in my major. I was responding to someone's statement that was made that we who are against this that the only courses in a college degree was History and Calculus. BH College - a waste of time? >>> But what I do think is a lot of us know there are many courses required for a college degree that have absolutely nothing to do with being a good medic or a good anything.
