Guest guest
Hello everyone, Hope today has been as good for you as it turned out for me. We started out a bit rough last night, I stubbed and jammed my pinky toe and bruised my back in a comic incident (so DH says) with the wall in the bathroom. But for a bit of luck, I would have landed in the tub! That will teach me to try and talk to him and walk into the potty at the same time, LOL! I woke up this morning pretty sore, but determined to go walking at the swap meet anyhow, we wanted to get some fresh fruit, of which there was nothing fun that I wanted, and grab razor blades, which are much cheaper there. Hobbled around there for about half an hour, and then off to the commissary for some more milk, salad mix, and other odds and ends. Came home and had a long nap, haha, and then fixed dinner. After dinner managed just over half an hour of line dancing, I figure if it makes me sweat, it counts as aerobic, right? HAHA! Seriously, it got my heart pumping, and it was FUN! If its fun, I will stick with it, I hope. Anyway, here are the totals for the day: Breakfast: 1 c. Honey Nut Cheerios 1/3 c. 1% milk 1/3 c. strawberries 1 c. orange juice Lunch: Chinese take out 1 c. white rice 2 c. assorted veggies 2 oz lean beef Dinner: med salad 1 quesadilla made with cheddar cheese (maybe 1 oz?) & ground beef (about an oz) Snack: Plan on angel food cake with strawberries Exercise: About 1/2 hour walking at swap meet 1/2 hour line dancing Water: about 96 oz, I think Sharon in San Diego
Guest guest
sharon, dancing counts most definately....anything that gets you up and moving. some of those line dances don't give you any rest. great job. hubby and i always do the stationary cha cha...not exactely sure why they call it stationary-lol. i usually end up getting my last couple thousand steps every day by dancing. you're right about being able to continue things you like....i think that is why so many people loose interest with exercise so quickly, because they don't find things they like. meaghan...who's sorry she's posting so much but trying to get caught up from missing yesterday. - -- In weightlossbuddies2 , " tinkcrzy1972 " <smbalik@s...> wrote: > Hello everyone, > > Hope today has been as good for you as it turned out for me.
