Guest guest
Hi Lori I'm glad that the red spot seems bettr- you often get little pink or mild red patches that fade within the hour, as the band has to hold somewhere- so it sounds like you will be able to move to 23 hour wear really soon. Lucia only wore one band- a Cranio band. There is a bit of a debate at the moment on the UK MSN boards over why some of the STARbanded babies in the UK are growing out of their bands in 8/9/10 weeks (when they are about 6 months at the start) and so end up finishing with some asymmetry (say 5/6/7 mm) yet Cranio bands are always worn for 4-6 months, and seem to achieve total correction (less than 1mm). I don't know the answer- it's more common in the States for babies to wear more than one band, but most babies still only need the one. I think about 15% of DOCband babies get two bands. At five months, your little one is at the optimum time for correction so you have every reason to be optimistic. It's for such a short while, but at the time it can seem really long and quite stressful- a year down the line it seems like a distant memory to me now, and it will do to you soon (promise!) Let us know how gets on in the next couple of days Hannah (mum to Lucia, London, UK) Cranio grad > > > > > > > > > > > > > > We would like to remind you of this upcoming event. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Who is getting new bands/helmets this week? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Date: Sunday, July 17, 2005 > > > > > > > Time: All Day > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi Everyone! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Jusy wanted to check in with all the folks picking up > > > > > > > bands/helmets this week.
