Guest guest
I think for most people, they don't know how to re-act to a woman breastfeeding. Unless they've had kids of their own they don't really know how natural it is. I remember in high school a woman breastfeeding her baby in the restaurant and she was a clear view in front of me. I didn't know if I could look at her, or not look at her (afraid she might think I was discusted), but it's very hard not to look at someone in clear view like that. Would she tell me to mind my own if I did look? I don't think people are 'discusted' with it, I think they just don't know how to react. Only a mother who has breastfed her baby would know how comfortable she was with people looking over while she breastfed her child. I think people (mostly people with no kids) are afraid to guess whether it's okay or not.
