Has anyone heard from the Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild??

I sent in request for membership months ago. No response. I then sent

another note asking the status. Again, no response. I just fired off

another one.

Seems to me that this isn't the way to run the organization ... or did they

go belly up? Anyone know?

D. Marie is .... no. Wait a sec. D. Marie is D. Marie Beaty (unsure of

spelling - sorry!) and the one on HTN is Donna Coles , aka

Donna .

Oh man. I was starting to think they were one in the same. Nope.

I did join HTN. I was impressed with Donna 's credentials, her

commitment and the lady herself. I remember asking her a question and she

got back to me so quickly and nicely and was so professional ~ that's rather

rare, you know? Plus it appears that she really wants to get things

accomplished. If anyone doesn't know what I'm referring to, it's The

Handmade Toiletries Network at http://www.handmadetoiletries.com .

Just a speculation here but maybe she branched out in order to accomplish

things? The Guild is, sadly enough, not known for their speed on things (ie

membership applications).

I feel like I'm gossiping here - not my intent. Just pure speculation.
