The Hanger band is indeed very similar to the DOC Band. The Hanger FDA approval is based on it's similarity. The key with the Hanger band is making sure the orthotist doing the treatment is experienced. Ask them how many babies they have treated? Can they give you referrences? Have they taken the Hanger educational course on the band treatment? etc.
