Help! For the past few days, it has been a major battle to get Ryker to

nurse from my right breast. When I offer it to him, he cries. However, I

know he is hungry because he starts gobbling as soon as I put him on the

left side. Could this have something to do with his ears and if so, how do

I fix it?

I have noticed that if he is really sleepy, he will nurse on the right side

without any problems. I want to make sure that nothing happens to my

supply.

TIA,

Amy

Amy--it could be the thing with his ears. Not trying to sound like the

broken record but I have heard of babies having misallignments in their necks

that make it painful to hold their heads/necks in that position on one side

or the other. Did you consider the chiropractor........?? I've heard lots

of positive outcomes from those situations when the baby was given a minor

adjustment. It isn't painful for the baby and in no way compares to the

thrusts or forceful adjustments you may be imagining or have seen performed

on adults. Just offering another point of view......

Take care,

Fawn
