Guest guest
From: The_Thyroid_Support_Group [mailto:The_Thyroid_Support_Group ] On Behalf Of NickSent: Sunday, July 10, 2005 7:12 AM I'm on a lo dose of Cytomel in addition to 88 mcg Levoxyl now, and its made a real positive difference. Just saw my endo on Friday and we're going with a bit less Levoxyl and a bit more Cytomel based on several factors (blood and symptoms). I'm probably a poor converter of T4 to T3, which is why Cytomel makes a difference. -------------------------------------- Thank you for sharing your experiences . . . I've been on a Synthroid and the lowest dose of Cytomel for a while now, and I found the Cytomel to make a huge difference -- for the same reasons that you identify. I know that my body does convert the Synthroid, but I think it does so irregularly and unpredictably. I'm seeing the PA at the endo's office tomorrow, and I am going to ask her if I can increase the 5 mcg cytomel dosage to 2 times a day. the teawife
