Guest guest
Does artichoke have sugar in it. It stirred my candida, after taking it. Any advice will be helpful. Guest guest
It has quite high levels of FOS sugar which can feed bacteria or yeast, it does affect some people quite badly. Other foods in this catagory are garlic, leeks, asparagus, banana etc, all with varying amounts. Some foods also have this substance added and then promoted as prebiotics, the problem is it feeds good and bad. jerusalem is much worse than french artichoke. Guest guest
Artichole itself is an herb that as far as I know does not contain sugar--but I do not know for sure.. If you tried the store bought Cynarol brand..The package does not list it--.Cynarol lists as ingrediants-- artichoke fresh plant concentrate, in a base of soybean oil, in acapsule of elatin ,glycerin ,water.. If you are sensitive to soy bean oil this may cause similar symptoms to candida-- As I said before I have found my symptoms overlap-- It is tough to decide what is causing what--ie is it candida, food sensitivites, overacidity, etc.???...Artichoke makes the gallbaldder bile flow more so maybe it is a cleansing-- ??? body1million > > Does artichoke have sugar in it.
