Guest guest
Which one would be better at keeping my eyes open? There isn't enough caffeine available so I must resort to additional practices. I am quite tired and still feeling a bit stunned (more from my own denial hitting me in the face) and not really wanting to do this today. I also have to go to WalMart - WITH the boys - to get a new watchband (metal flexi kind, no idea how it broke), and to get lots of big buckets with lids. At least a dozen for the hideous disaster upstairs. It's either that or trash bags. Oh, I need those too.... I also need sleep! Dratted child was up past midnight and up in the middle, and up by 7:30. You know if I had planned on running a wayward home for autistic spectrum children I would have gone out and hired a staff. Where's a good staff when you need them? who is so sleep deprived it isn't funny.
Guest guest
Feeling your pain ... n was up crying for no good reason at 4:30 this morning. I went in and snuggled with him - - he slept but I couldn't. In the pits of my insomnia I remembered that I had an ob appointment this morning .... but forgot to ask dh if he could cover. And when morning came, he couldn't swing it. So now I'm schlepping n to the ob and the midwives are (somehow) running more than an hour late (how is this possible when it isn't even 9 yet?) And to think the nurse was surprised that my blood pressure was elevated ..... grrr. , who desperately misses her coffee ... Tape or Toothpicks? > Which one would be better at keeping my eyes open? Guest guest
Toothpicks work better because the points hurt when your eyes close on them. You work a lot harder to keep them open. With tape you can relax your eye lids and fall asleep with them open. Take it as easy as you can. :/ Any hope of getting some rest this weekend?? -Sara. Guest guest
So now I'm schlepping n to the ob and the > midwives are (somehow) running more than an hour late (how is this possible > when it isn't even 9 yet?) Oh isn't that fun. Not. My favourite thing to do. (in a pig's eye) > > And to think the nurse was surprised that my blood pressure was elevated > .... grrr. Really? It was elevated? Gee....I wonder why. Of course it was elevated. Geez! > > , who desperately misses her coffee ... I restrict myself to one cup in the morning and one cup of tea in the afternoon when I'm pregnant. But I'm not pregnant and don't intend to be so again so coffee it is!
Guest guest
When I was pregnant with n I tried really really hard to give up coffee .... it lasted until the last trimester, then I gave in and had just a little in the morning. This time around I wanted to make a better effort, so I've been better, but I still give in to temptation more often than I would like .... Guest guest
yesssss, but it just isn't the same. When I was in college I used to work in a coffee house slinging cappuccino, needless to say I've had quite a coffee habit since then. And you know how it is with women ... I would have to go out of my way to make the decaf, and my husband is using the pot already, and somehow it seems like too much work to do just for myself, lol. Anymore any hot beverage seems impractical since n can't seem to restrain himself from jumping on me at all times (in his own loving obnoxious way), also not the most eight-and-a-half-months-pregnant-friendly activity ... Sometimes I think my longing for coffee is more about the idea of having a quiet moment of peace in which to enjoy it : ) Re: Re: Tape or Toothpicks? > > This time around I wanted to make a better effort, so I've been better, but I still give in to temptation more often than I would like... < > > is decaf not an option?
