Guest guest
I'd also like to thank the person who recommended the oatmeal soap. I've been using it for about 6 weeks now, and my skin is far less itchy than it was before. One tip I'll pass on. I discovered that you can buy packets of collaidal oatmeal that are designed as bath treatments. I keep a packet near the tub and sometimes pat it onto to my face for an oatmeal wash/facial. Connie << I think the soap is $3-4 and you can buy it at any American drugstore in the skincare aisle. Whoever first posted this idea- thank you so much! Oatmeal rules! >>
Guest guest
I wanted to add that the Kiss My Face Olive Oil soap that someone recommended a few weeks ago also has citric acid in it. I tried it and it didn't clean my face thoroughly either. I started getting the red nose at 4pm syndrome with it! I'm sticking to that hemp oil soap from the Body Shop. Guest guest
hi peg broth is a soup base it comes in chicken and beef. You get to have oatmeal? i am just over a week postop i wish i could have that, (maybe i will, the women's nutrition is a good idea). I'm doing the protein shakes, i got samples of many flavors from vitalady.com they are 1.50 each. I mostly mix them with diet soda, such as dry grape, ginger ale, or diet root beer taste better that way. I do them in the blender so it takes the carbonation out. I wish you luck, the first 4 days were aweful, but now 7 days later i feel like my old self again. ( I had lap). Take care Pam C

Guest guest
I used plain Quaker Instant oatmeal but couldn't tolerate it until about a month out and then mixed it with non-fat yogurt. There is no sugar in it. I also got diabetic chicken broth cubes for broth. Later I found at the Chinese restaurant I could order wonton soup with out the wontons(alleric to them) and it was $1 a quart. Guest guest
HI I am here!!!! I have not been at the computer very often b.c the weather is too nice. I am finally feeling good. Having a little trouble with breakfast since I cant handle the protein shakes we have determined that I am alergic to whey! Which really sucks. Since I have had the opening I have had to make weekly trips to the Dr. for him to check the wound and he is impressed with how it is healing. Hopefully it will be fully healed in a week or 2. Gald to hear you guys are doing better. and feeling good.
