to be honest jacquie i laughed at this one too - i don't even know where my iron

is. but, fair dues - louisa is british! having lived there once i can say that

ironing is very ingrained in the british culture. my mother in law irons her

knickers and bed sheets! i think part of it is that many people line dry or use

a drying rack which leaves clothes a bit wrinklier than our big north american

dryers. you can literally 3 or 4 items in paul's mum's teeny tiny dryer!

anything really wrinkly i take in the shower with me - i just hang the hanger

over the shower curtain rod and most of the wrinkles fall out from the steam. i

also use wrinkle releaser spray on really bad things but it has to be pretty

severe to warrant an iron!

Wow, Louisa! ICK!

All my clothes get hung up from the dryer wrinkly or not. I got that from

my dh, who likes to take things out of the dryer before they are completely

dry and then shove them in the laundry basket. And pack them down. I've

been unable to break him of this habit, so now we all go about looking like

we slept in the gutter!
