Guest guest
Hi Rita, I know how you feel in anticipating the next Neph visit. I always feel a little anxious before mine too. It is like waiting for the other shoe to drop, knowing it will, but not knowing when, and each time you are just hoping to hear things are still ok. Please let us know after your appointment how things are.

Guest guest
I can totally relate to the feeling of that second shoe about to drop. I get a bit anxious for a few days leading up to my appointments. I find if I'm getting too worked up about it I just call and talk to my nephs nurse and get my lab results...at least then I can calm down a bit once I know how my values are sitting. I think I'm going to call and get my results early next month as I have my blood drawn, then we go to Vegas for a week, then I see the neph the day after we get back....I'm going to go nuts wondering what my creatinine is at if I don't call before we leave for vacation. (my neph and I are going on vacation the same week...how nice of him to plan it that way. ) Rita please let us know how things look after your appointment. Hoping for lower protein and steady creatinine values for you! Amy Re: Rita's appointment on the 23rd > Hi Rita, > > I know how you feel in anticipating the next Neph visit. Guest guest
Rita, , Amy, I can totally relate also. Initially, my neph appts were always very anxious, because it was always " bad news " . Now since on the pred, it's generally *knock on wood* been " good news " . But I still get very worried, either from habit, or wondering if there might be a sudden turn-around that I'm not prepared for. I don't usually call my neph to find out any lab results or anything like that. I just try and avoid thinking about it until " it's time " . Doesn't always work tho.
