Guest guest
I wanted to update you all on our trip to Disney. We had a wonderful time! On our first day, I didn't get the pass that allowed us alternate entrances and to use our stroller as a wheelchair. I just thought I would try it out without those tools. Well, it was a pain to have to unload the stroller every time we went to a show, etc (suction machine, etc), so I did go to guest services the 2nd day we were there. As many of you indicated, they were WONDERFUL. After that, we breezed through the parks with our stroller--enjoyed entrances that were less crowded, and were able to allow Carmen to experience so much more than she would have. It was awesome. Thanks to everyone for your advice on the trip. Carmen was in pure heaven--she LOVED every character--hugged, kissed, and danced. I was in tears of joy most of the trip to see her response to all she was exposed to. Her favorite was Pooh--who is also her favorite here at home. When she saw him, she was in front of me and she kept turning to me and giving me kisses of excitement and pointing to Pooh--I still get teary-eyed remembering it. The other cool thing about all this is that Zachary got to see us as a family enjoying everything together--with his sister completely involved. It was more than years of therapy could ever do! , mom to Zachary 4.5 years and Carmen 20 months (CHARGE)
