It's real easy to keep 'em around - when you first get them as "chicks" you keep them penned up for about 6 weeks so they know where their food is coming from - then just let 'em go - they will roam around in other yards, but they come back on a regular basis to eat and roost. Mine are here 5 or 6 times a day mostly to let me know they're here LOL - when they want to eat they let me know!! If I'm outside they come right up to me and squawk like crazy, then run round to the front where I normally feed them......if I'm not there right away - those little dickens will come right back around the corner and squawk some more! They keep that up until I go feed them LOL They are cool little birds! I'd love to have a few more around haha.....

We keep guineas around to keep them out of the yard,

Don't the Guineas fly away? I have heard of this before but don't know how to keep them in my yard.

Okay, now I know I am officially nuts. Was just reading emails and my brain was still on the subject of Grandkids, I think that works for them too. Trevor soon learned where Granma keeps the goodies!! LOL.
