Janet - - I'm sitting here laughing - and imagining how your husband must be enjoying all of this "mosquito fighting" if he is trying to sleep!! And your subject line is waaaaaay too funny!!

I absolutely hate mosquitoes! If there is one within 40 miles, it will pass up a million people to get to ME!! I guess I must taste really good!!!

bugger went!! I missed him, and then couldn't locate him again. If

you happen upon a family of sneezing armadillos... it's possible that

I've sent them packing as well. They keep rooting up my landscape

beds, sooo I followed some on-line advice to sprinkle cayenne pepper

around my flowers and shrubs.

If the cayenne pepper works on getting rid of the armadillos, let me

know, please. We have at least one in our yard. Why can't they root

up the weeds instead of stuff we like?

My sentiments EXACTLY!!! One

year, they *waited* until my zinnias were about 12-18 inches tall and

in full bloom before they started roto-tilling 'em up!! Hubby went

outside first thing in the morning and came back in and asked why I dug

up all my flowers. Last year I refused to give them the chance... I

only planted flowers in big pots on the porch. This year I planted

several lantanas in between the shrubs. They haven't dug them out yet,

but they've excavated around everyone of them and several of my shrubs,

too. I was told that they'd take one whiff of the cayenne pepper and

wouldn't return. We'll see.

I got a snake for ya tonight Janet! Holy Cow ya should've seen the size of this thing! It was HUGE!! I kid you not.....this thing had to be at LEAST 10 feet long! I went out of my way to hit that sucker....not that he was hard to miss!! It looked like a diamond back.....do they even get that big?? All I know is that's one more we don't have to worry about here in Texas!!

Got any idea's on how to get rid of Gophers and moles? I have a yard full of trails. My cats get one ever once in a while but more trails appear all the time.

Keep those nasty things down your way. I am petrofied at the thought of a snake. We've been known to have a few around this area and I just keep praying they never find their way to this yard.

I'm not a good enough shot to shoot him off that fence.....with my luck - I'd miss him and hit the cows LOL......someday tho.......someday - and when that day comes I just might make me a belt out of his hide LOLOLOL!!
