Guest guest Posted July 14, 2001 Report Share Posted July 14, 2001 DEAREST DAWN AND EVERYONE WELL I TOOK MY TWO 9 YEAR OLD GRANDCHILDREN AND TWO FRIENDS IN BOSTON TO SEE THE MONKIES PERFORM AT THE HATCH SHELL. IT WAS A FREE CONCERT. MY HUSBAND AND MY PUG ALBIE ALSO WENT. A LOT OF PEOPLE. THEY SAID 50,000. WE GOT THERE AT 4:00PM AND WE JUST GOT HOME AT 10:30PM. IT WAS A GREAT CONCERT. WE HAD TO WALK ONE MILE EACH WAY AND I HAD TO CLIMB OVER A FENCE GOING TO THE HATCH SHELL. I COULDN'T HAVE DONE THIS IF I HADN'T LOST ALL THAT WEIGHT. I WAS TALKING TO A NICE GIRL AND SHE MAY BE AT THE MEETING ON WEDNESDAY. I AM LIKE A RECRUTER FOR GASTRIC BYPASS. I AM TIRED SO I WILL SAY GOODBY. TOMORROW ALL I AM DOING IS CLEANING MY POOL AND RESTIMG. I HAVE MY GRANDCHILDREN ALL WEEK AS MY DAUGHTER WENT TO MEXICO WITH HER BOYFRIEND FOR A WEEK. SHE NEEDS A BREAK. You are doing absolutely amazing, and look fabulous, but more importantly, your spirits are as high as the sky will allow! Recruiting ey? I'd suggest to Dr. Randall, for every referral given by you, you'd like your Tummy Tuck at a reduced rate! Thank you very much for the invite, however we're having friends over for lunch and a visit tomorrow, then my typical Sunday errands, followed by my well deserved dinner cooked by Ralph! I LOVE SUNDAYS for that reason! Then, I'm off to train for a new position I've taken on as another Personal Care attendant, for my training, then bed to start an entire new freaking week! They love me there and I'm trying to get an apprenticeship. It's looking really good! I just need to wait for one to open up...Probably next month. I'm doing a facelift on their website and they're giving me free tattoos. Tonight I got a new one...It's HUGE! It's a big ram's skull with multiple horns that are all twisted. It is on my upper back. The tattoo goes from one shoulder to the other and halfway down my back...and my back is HUGE, so that tells you how big it is. Hehe. Today we just did the line work. Next months we're going to go back over it and thicken the line art some...then the next month we'll start the shading. This is going to take a year or so before it's complete. I love it though! Guest guest Posted July 15, 2001 Report Share Posted July 15, 2001 Lyssa: Sounds like a beautiful garden..can;t wait to have the nergy to do that myself....well a short update..I went to visit Kim Caveney at NWH yesterday..she is doing great...and shouldbe going home on Monday....also there was another woman there...(she is on-line here) and I am so bad with names...so I hope all will know her..she had her surgery on Thursday afternon with Dr Reines....(sorry I forgot your name..i apologize) but she is also doing great and was walking up a storm..But they both look wonderful , not getting enough sleep, but who does in the first few weeks...not me... as for me I am 3 weeks post-op and have lost 27 lbs...so happy...I have to try and get in more fluids....my taste buds are off..and everyting tastes horrible at the moment...when they change your diet to phase 2,,,what really changes..? do they add more food, different consistancy? whatever it is I cannot wait..this blended stuff is driving me nuts...thanks so much Jane ( I will be at the meeting tuesday and would love to meet some of you....I will let you know what I will be wearing...thanks all...)
