Guest guest Posted June 2, 2005 Report Share Posted June 2, 2005 Hey Guys ~n~ Gals, I havent been around in a while but I wanted to stop in and share the great news. Well my son is in his 6th week of treatment with the DOC band. We have been paying out of pocket because the Insurance had denied the first claim. I called cranial technologies and asked them to mail me a copy of whatever they send BCBS when we got denied. They send me a claim form and the form that was filled out at consultation with the measurements and whatnot. I took those forms, made copies of the before pictures I got from cran tech, went straight to the union delegate for our area and handed them to him myself. Before I left I told him " If we would of not treated our son with the DOC Band his condition would have gotten a whole lot worse and probably would of required surgery and that would of cost BCBS a whole lot more than $3000. " Well I came home today after doing some shopping and recieved a message from the delegate stating that the band will be paid in full!! He also told me that he spoke directly to the headquarters and told them that they have so many members who's children are being treated with the DOC Band and if they are willing to participate with BCBS and DOC people said NO!!!
