Guest guest
I do what I believe is the best thing any mom could do. I am a MOMMY --- What do I do each day... if you want details - here they are. My day started at 5 am, going to mom's house who is paralyzed from the neck down due to a car wreck she had in June of 1990. I spent an hour with my hand up her bottom because she was empacted, gee - fun. I then gave her range of motion so she will not stiffen up... fixed her some food cause I would not be home today... then I came home and got the children up as my husband was getting ready for work and we drove to a friends house - which by the way is totally in shambles. YES I live in Texas - 45 miles south of Ft Worth and we were hit hard the last few days in case you did not hear. I spent my morning helping her and her children pick through rubble that used to be their house. I then took my children to lunch, Hanah played with her friends, Mason nursed himself to sleep in the sling. I then drove an hour back home and we did some crafts together while bubba took a nap. Ohh then I cooked dinner for my husband who works on average 60 hours a week. Gave him a back rub, got the kids quiet by playing outside with them so he could take a nap after dinner... came in, bathed the children, came here... Mason is sleeping, Hanah is writing letters on her chalkboard. So no, I am not out fixing the deficit... or anything major like that. I am just the mommy of two beautiful children who has had a cruddy day and came here to see you reprimanding me for making a little remark that I have never known to actually bother anyone. I am not a liberal woman. So maybe my views on this are quite different than yours, perhaps being raised in the south I am a little more laid back and don't take things quite as literally as you do. WHO KNOWS! But what I do know is your comments were really out of left field. It is not like I called YOU personally an idiot or something. I did not need you to mommy me. I meant nothing by the "cliche". I really think you should look back. I in NO way meant to make you feel like an idiot. I made a simple comment about how I was having a blonde moment. You totally blew it out of porportion.
