Guest guest
Hi , I believe you should be taking the calcium twice a day...taking the full daily dose at once is not as beneficial as taking it 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the afternoon. I think your body absorbs it better...or something like that... - Pre-Op 08/13/01 Dr Reines NWH > I was wondering how much calcium you need in a day? Guest guest
The FDA RDI is 1000 mcg daily. 120 mcg for over 50 and under 30. The larger the calcium dose, the smaller the absorption ration. Take one in the morning and one later in the day. Good luck with your surgery. Ray Hooks wrote: > > I was wondering how much calcium you need in a day? Guest guest
Hey all, this is Margaret from Cambridge, but now moved to Essex. I had the operation on 2/1/01 and feel the need to reach out today. I HAVE BEEN SO BUSY WITH THE MOVE THE LAST FEW MONTHS that I have missed meetings and hardly read the e-mail's. I just want to say how grateful I am! I am five months out and down 80 pounds. I am so thrilled. I feel like I am living again. I live on the cape during the summer with my extended family. I find myself thinking about food for the first time and it scares me!! I can eat anything and must be vigilant to live with moderation. It is clear to me that I have lots of old eating tapes around family stuff. And this is with just having fun, when the shit hots the fan I'll be cooked. Anyway, I just wanted to reach out to say I am here, living a day at a time, and feeling ever so grateful for this miracle. Margaret, Essex, 345/265/150 Is this right? Starting weight, current, and goal?

Guest guest
Margaret- Congrats on the weightloss! That is so great! I don't know if you caught it, but I'm going to be keeping Don's list updated for awhile while he's taking some time for himself. I've changed your stats and your town. :-) I live in Truro...where do you stay on the Cape? Jeff ~Home is where you can say anything you like cause nobody listens to you anyway.~ Re: RE: Calcium?????
