Guest guest Posted November 26, 2002 Report Share Posted November 26, 2002 Hi, This is . I had surgery scheduled for this week with Dr. March and wanted to update everyone. My surgery was originally scheduled for Monday, 11/25. But, last Wednesday I woke up with severe back and left-sided pain and a fever of 103. I went to the ER and was diagnosed with a kidney infection. I saw Dr. March the following day (Thursday)for my preop appointment. He suggested that we keep my surgery scheduled for the 25th tenatively. I was in bed for the whole weekend. What I found strange though is that I started having significant breast tenderness. Then I started having right sided pain but lower and just thought it was my right kidney also being infected. But when I woke up Monday, guess what? I had started my period! I guess I was having both symptoms at the same time cramps and a kidney infection. It looks like I will be having my surgery sometime in December. I am still in shock about my period! What a coincidence! It came on the day of my surgery date! It's been eight months since my D & C! Anyone else experience this? Anyone have their period return without surgical intervention? This must be a good sign?!! Right??? Also, does the database for the Ashermans group have to be updated to reflect that I get my period now?
