never, ever metion wanting a rototiller for the garden and a membership for

a health club in the same conversation with your spouse...mine said " I can

handle both without leaving the house, here's a shovel. Now we saved $500

on the rototiller and $300 on the health club membership. " " ....and your

neph wanted you to get more exercise and lose some weight. " My arms hurt

and I still have a good 100 ft x 50ft of soil to turn over on our front

hill. I'm turning it into a wildflower/native plant type garden, drought

tollerant of course. I've come to realize I can work about a 6ft x 6ft

section at a time before I have to quit digging for the day...though today I

got a bit farther than that. I guess as I get back in better shape I'll be

able to handle more. Then we had 25 tons of fill dirt delivered

yesterday....the driver couldn't get the truck back where we wanted it **due

to bad driving on his part, there was over 100ft of manuvering room!** so

now I have 25 tons of dirt to move the final 200 ft to the back yard by

wheelbarrow full. I think my health club membership has turned into a

bottle of sunscreen, pair of gloves, a hat, and a good shovel. LOL!!

Hey another member. I am also a member of the " shovel and rake "

health club. Watch your butt cheecks, mine were so sore after

hauling dirt back and forth in a wheelbarrow, actually it was the

shoveling and turning that hurt. Think about the famers tan you'll

get, no laying in a tanning bed and paying more $. Now with all this

$ your husband is saving he can take you out on the town.

Oh my goodness Amy, that's pretty impressive, being able to turn

that much soil!! I think I would have complained and petered out on

the whole digging thing after about an hour. ; )
