Guest guest
Good morning, we had Sunday night a fright in the evening hours. I lay already in bed and went to the bathroom and saw blood! No lubrication bleedings, but light red fresh blood. It wasn’t bleeding heavily and stopped within 30 minutes. Yesterday I went to see my Gyn already thinking that the embryo is gone.. The good message: we’ve seen a little heartbeat and the vitelline on the ultrasound. She also found the place where the bleeding occurred. She recommended to give me an injection of luteinizing hormone the pity is that I’m still waiting to get this injection because no drugstores had it. I have to lay down and rest for the next 2-3 days which isn’t that easy with an 1,5 year old son. My mother in law and my mum are taking care of him till Thursday. We are very concerned about the possibility of loosing the baby.. My doctor said that 20 % of the women have bleedings in their pregnancy and that it doesn’t have to mean that I will have an abortion. Hope he is right! I had the same thing in my first pregnancy but there it was just spotting, not bleeding. We have booked a trip to the Maldives for the 4th of January to celebrate our late honeymoon, right now I’m not sure if I should fly for 10 hours.. I will ask my doctor. -> For those who don’t know: I’m 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. Had severe Asherman’s grade 2-3 and had surgery with Dr. Gallinat, Hamburg in June 2002. Please keep your fingers crossed for me! Astrid
Guest guest
Astrid, Sorry to hear about your bleeding. If you look at the pregnancy chart, you will see for yourself that almost all ashermans pregnancies have had some sort of bleeding. I'm not sure if you have added your pregnancy to this chart but if you have, please edit and mention the bleeding under "spotting". This will help us to understand the pregnancies better. Do you think it is a good idea to take a trip to the Maldives this early in your pregnancy? I mean especially with your bleeding. Can you postpone for a later date?? Anyway, whatever you decide, I hope that you rest and take care of that little bean growing inside you. Love Poly
