Hi gang! I had a appointment with Dr. Reines today and I wanted to let

you all know how it went. I shall start from the beginning with my VERY

FIRST appointment w/ Dr. R.

In February I went to Dr. R for the first time, I got weighed in and all

was fine and dandy (a little shocking, but dandy). He informed me that I

had to loose some weight before surgery to show that I am ready to make

this commitment, I thought that it wouldn't be hard at all. SOOOO I go

back to my next appointment in April and I had GAINED a pound. I thought

that it was no big deal, I had quit smoking, quit soda, quit chocolate,

etc...Dr. R was pleased with all my good deeds but a little disappointed

about the 1 pound. I go back to Dr. R in May to get some sort of help

(drugs) to help me take the weight off. Well at this appointment I got

weighed in and I had GAINED 10 MORE pounds. I was so disappointed as was

Dr. R and he told me that if I didn't loose the weight I had put on PLUS

more he would cancel the surgery. That brings us up to today, I get

called back and I see the " MONSTER " (scale) and I look at Dr. T's wife

and I said that if I get on here and have gained MORE weight I will be

so depressed...So I walk SLOWLY to the " MONSTER " and I hop on...I look

down and LOW AND BEHOLD I had LOST 15 pounds!!!!!!! I was so happy that

I started crying and Dr. T's wife gave me a big hug! Dr. R was VERY VERY

pleased and SOOOO WASSS I!!!! 15 pounds in a month, that may not sound

like much to some people but DAMNIT I worked my A** off to loose that 15

pounds!!! Sorry for rambling, I just wanted to share!!!! :)

Hugs,

Kim in Methuen
