Thank you for all of your support and words of wisdom! is going

to be casted today for her Starband. I am nervous but anxious to get it

going and get it over with so I can enjoy her precious little round

head. Does the Starband come in different colors or are they white and

people just paint them? Well anyways, will post later on how it went!

Thank you for asking. Well honestly is was awful. She cried the

whole time and I just felt so bad for her. The worse part was when

he was taking the cast off, I thought he was going to rip her head

off her neck. She really freaked out bad. I don't know if it was

hurting her or not, that is the worst part. She had and still does

have some red marks at her eyebrow area. But she is doing good.

Should have it back in about 2 weeks. :-) Anxious to get it going.

Also, I originally ordered the leopard print one then decided a bit

ago to change to plain white so I can paint and decorate it. Thought

it would be fun to be able to change it up a bit rather than just

have the leopard print the whole time.

My goodness! Was he tugging hard on the cast to pull it off her

head? Whe didn't have any red spots afterwards. Just a 5 minute

tub immediately after the casting took care of everything!

Make sure she gets fitted with her STARband within 2 weeks. It's

important do it within that time frame to ensure the pressure points

are fresh.

Hi Steph,

I'm sorry the casting was to bad. :-( I've never heard of an ortho

being so rough when taking the cast off. My dd was casted 4 times and

never once was a red mark left on her afterwards.

Do you know how much experience your ortho has treating plagio babies?

When will the band be in?
