Guest guest
I don't know about supplements, but I would try a warm baking soda solution to rinse mouth, hold in mouth, swish around and spit out. You could also try Colgate's Peroxide mouth cleanser. If you keep the mouth clean, it will heal faster and there are many germs in a mouth. I would try the baking soda myself. --- orelindel wrote: > Hi Everyone, > > Are there any supplements that I can take to > speed healing and > relieve

Guest guest
Just to let you know, I had all my amalgams removed almost three months ago, and finally the sensitivity is disappearing. Mine was so bad that I could only eat soft, luke warm food for a while. It is very normal for the teeth to be that way, and of course a bit misalignment won't help. I found the best thing to do was baby it. Chew on the other side if this is an option for you. I avoided hard foods, anything too hot or cold. Basically, eating things at moderate temperatures. I even used some orajel when it really flared up and I couldn't sleep. I really thought, man..my teeth are going to be like this forever?! But they gradually improved and I don't have much bother now, other than eating ice cream..but I had that sensitiviy before. You can try a lot of vitamin C too, it is very helpful in healing. I also used herbal mouth wash. > > Hi Everyone, > > Are there any supplements that I can take to speed healing and > relieve sensitivity to my tooth post-amalgam removal? Guest guest
Hi Jan, I'm sipping orange juice as I type. I can't believe how painful this is. It really has gotten better since the laser and bite adjustment, but I'm scheduled to have two more removed next week. Thanks for sharing your experience. I will try to have a bit more patience with my recoveryy. Thanks, Orelindel > > Just to let you know, I had all my amalgams removed almost three > months ago, and finally the sensitivity is disappearing.
