Guest guest Posted June 16, 2004 Report Share Posted June 16, 2004 I am weaning off of prednisone (I take 40mg every other day, next week I get to start 20mg every other day!) and I've noticed on the days I don't take it my heart races and feels like it occasionally skips a beat or beats irregularly. Guest guest Posted June 17, 2004 Report Share Posted June 17, 2004 The every other day has been hard, and my neph told me it probably would be but he wanted me to try and " handle it " otherwise I could take 20 mg in between days - I didn't want to do that so I'm dealing with it. I notice on the days I do take the Pred, I seem to be more puffy in the face/neck. I also can tell when I'm late taking it. This is some strange stuff!
