Guest guest Posted June 16, 2004 Report Share Posted June 16, 2004 I am weaning off of prednisone (I take 40mg every other day, next week I get to start 20mg every other day!) and I've noticed on the days I don't take it my heart races and feels like it occasionally skips a beat or beats irregularly. I couldn't sleep much anyway, so instead of feeling bad all day, I could rest through the worst of it. I found when I took it in the morning, by lunch time I was puffed up, eyes irritated, and could not think.
